KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

The following list of indicators will help the committee to track its progress in achieving the strategic goals, objectives and outcomes. The indicators are a combination of outcome (results-based), determinants of health (social and economic influences) and process (implementation or utilization) indicators. The list of indicators is not exhaustive, nor is it intended that the committee will report on every single indicator in the list. It is anticipated that the committee will refine the list over the life of the strategic plan and report on those indicators which accurately capture information that is meaningful to key stakeholders. The data will be collected and analyzed by target population, risk behaviour, age and/or gender, where appropriate.
