EVALUATION
The committee will provide an opportunity for member agencies to report their progress in implementing the strategies referred to in the VH/ACCC Strategic Plan and companion Strategies Report. The committee will track aggregate performance on each of the selected performance indicators. This will require the development of outcome measurement systems at the agency level, as well as access to external data sources such as BC Stats, Vital Statistics, Health Planning Data Base (BC Ministry of Health), Statistics Canada, British Columbia Centre for Disease Control and Community Health Resource Project.
Once the measurement systems are in place, member agencies will begin to collect data on the selected indicators, as appropriate. These data, and data collected from external sources, will be analyzed at the committee’s monthly meetings. Progress on all indicators will be formally reported to key stakeholders, consumers and the community on a semi annual or annual basis.
The VH/ACCC Strategic Plan, Environmental Report, Strategies Report and progress reports will be available on the internet with links to other relevant documents and web sites.
